Scheduling your surgery
Before the day of surgery, your surgeon may require that you come to the Surgery Center of Reno for “pre-op” diagnostic testing, such as lab work, EKG, etc. To make this most convenient for our patients, the pre-op nurse will call you and review your medical history and current medications. If necessary, an appointment will be made for your pre-op visit. You have the option of downloading the patient history forms and fax the completed forms to the nurse for review at 775.336.6998. At the time of your pre-op visit, we will complete the necessary paperwork so less time is needed on the day of your surgery. Please bring the following items for your pre-operative visit and the day of your procedure:

• Identification with picture

• Complete medication list

• Insurance information and card

• Co-payment if required

• Reading glasses if needed

• Guardianship papers if applicable
